Graham's pants
Who is hiding behind this head of dreads? Graham Petit is his name. He is a French boy with a heart for travel. One of his favourite trips was to Senegal, a place for which he has a multitude of extraordinary and fond memories. Graham has found a great way to reminisce,  that is, by wearing the pants seen below.  Apart from the joy of memories rekindled by wearing the pants, Graham adores...

Here are some attempts at shooting the outfit I wore on Saturday night. My goal was to show you that I wore my new shoes. So far they have been good to my feet, but the truth is that I only wore them on Saturday night when I was at the Varscona Theatre to see Women Who Steal by Carter Lewis. So I have yet to see how my feet will handle them on longer treks.  Now, I have to thank VueWeekly for the...

WatchWatch
On this peaceful Friday evening I feel that I must reblog this live “performance” of Chairlift’s Bruises. The song is in fact one of the top listened on my iTunes. That means that I love it. Have a listen to their record’s version as well, it is bliss. heartlandtruckstop: Chairlift - Bruises

Snow roses
I finished the bulk of my assignments today and was finally able to stop and smell the roses… Well, not really because it was snowing outside BUT, I received a lovely parcel in the mail! Check out the photos and you will soon understand!!  What is hiding in this tiny box…  Tada! These tiny roses could not have come on a better day. They totally brightened the snowy afternoon!  ...

Thanks Giving
I must give a shout out to Kendall of City and Dale who has linked my blog on hers! Thank you Kendall, I truly appreciate it! :)  As for you folks, you should all have a look at her site as well as the other linked ones. She keeps everyone posted on all fashion going-ons in Edmonton and copious amounts of other goodies to maximize your awesomeness! I was also mentioned in her November 8th Style...
Nov 12th
All bundled up in knitwear, this lady knows how to stay warm and comfortable in the fall/winter season. I have seen quite a few people wearing tuques like this one around town lately and I envy their warm heads. The winter time is always so dry in Edmonton and my board straight hair becomes even straighter, flatter and more staticky so wearing a static-inducer on my head doesn’t really help...

Meese's pieces
I promised a preview of a few garments that are hanging daintily in Meese’s new downtown Edmonton location. Vanessa Reis modeled most of the beautiful pieces for me and was great! Thanks Vanessa! :)  I linked all the designers of the pieces for your enjoyment! There are tons more and you can also find those on Meese’s website. I hope this convinces you to go shop!  Ps. I forgot to...

Off The Deep End: Art Exhibit & Fashion Show
Tomorrow evening, that’s Saturday November 6th. There is an art exhibit and fashion show all-in-one, sounds like a dream no?. It takes place at the Scona Pool, hence, “Off the Deep End”. Here’s a link to the facebook event for more info. I hear that it is going to be a huge event, aka, it is not to miss. Oh and did I mention that entrance is by donation! It doesn’t...

A moose is on the loose
Last month part of Meese, hence the moose analogy, in St. Albert travelled to downtown Edmonton to fill a brand new boutique on 124th street.  Although the grand opening was on October 15th, this week is in fact quite appropriate to post about it. Why is that you ask? It is Shop Local First month. That means go shop at Meese, especially all of you lovely Edmontonians who have never been fortunate...
